no championship or champions league game this year (because folk were giving up early and losing interest)

prizes have dropped too for prem game i think (could be the final nail for fantasy football)

sun have dropped prize money too (although that is free so don't blame them)
1st prize 75k from 200k
weekender 1k from 5k

Seen something about TFF now being free and a maximum of five teams per person.

Will virtually kill side games if true.

I suspect we’ll also see a lot of wives on the leaderboard again.

Why doc :dunno:

I'd of thought with such a piddly amount in 1st prize entering 2 of the 5 in yer hare & tortoise would make sense, unless I'm not seeing something :blind:

It’s a fking joke. Currently having a conversation with them on Facebook and they’re adamant that too few people will pay for teams so they’ve had to change the model of the game.

Think it’s bullshit personally.

For what its worth, I'd enter 2 of 5 teams in the Hare & Tortoise & a 3rd in the for the useless Championship :biker:

This is what has killed them and other fantasy games regards pay to play.

Pay-to-play fantasy sports games are classified as betting by the UK Gambling Commission. In light of recent changes to the regulatory codes for games that offer both ‘free’ and ‘paid’ entry options, we were left with a choice: charge everybody or charge nobody.

Game launched.

I’m on the iPad and the page navigation is horrendous. Hopefully app will be available soon.

Only paying top 4 and a runner up prize of £250 . Also a massive £200 monthly prize :clap2:

With only 5 teams I won't be using any for the monthlies. My dog has just said he might use his 5 to target the monthlies though

The site is awful, the prize fund an insult and the five teams max rule means many brilliant side games won’t happen.

What a shitty end to what’s been a great game over the years.

Yep
Will set up a thread on whether to run hare and tortoise
Chokers no intent to run
Feets wasn't going to run anyhow by me
At minute minded not to run as using 2 teams for novelty rules when you only have 5 is unlikely to be in demand.....

I suspect focus will be on cents and other standard cash side games.

If anyone wants to pick up the mantle feel free..... Just disappointing that the best game which allowed flexibility has been fked over
