Dear Sir

I notice Tunisia have only 12 players and Egypt, 14. Is there some sort of sanction being applied for molesting camels and killing tourists?

If so, why do the Aussies have 19 players when, by my calculations, they should have a squad of two?

Yours faithfully

Ethel Prolapse

we might have 19 players players but we'll go with a 4-4-2

4-0 loss in the first game
4-0 in the 2nd
2-0 in the final group game

I've gotten over Bendtner now and have found a new hero. Yep, fresh from the Telegraph's definitive "Best players for each position", pull on those golden gloves Julio Cesar.

Can't understand why he's only in 12.64% of teams :hmmm:

High scoring leaderboard after one game. Seven managers decided to start with eleven Russians and the fact you can’t go 3-6-1 has worked massively in their favour.

Andy Milne off to a flyer.

My 46pts has me in 409th

reading fiso you'd think sun and tff were all over bar the shouting....

trouble with starting with a russian block or full russian team is you now have 11 players you dont want....

3rd game rotation will sort out the early flyers

Always amazes me Yorkie, especially as some if them are obviously decent players.

35 pages of shite basically, don't know how they manage to make tie themselves in knots interpreting the rules.

If you diddnt have Golvin, then it's all over :baseball:

20 transfers makes for a very good game

Having Ronaldo and/or Costa in a single team would help too.

I suspect that Mexico goal has fooked up a few teams.

I’ve backed Germany to win it so they’ll probably go out at the group stage.

Brazil conceeding will impact too. Probably just Ronaldos hattrick putting folk off joining the party late, although if you can drop on a a couple of strikers/mids grabbing a few goals before Ronnie plays again then probs worth taking a punt on sticking in a fresh team while the first round is still alive.

Ps Costa only in 3% of teams :hmmm:

PSA
Having successfully maintained my 100% records of every striker transferred in failing to score and every defender brought in conceding, anyone thinking of starting up extra teams would be advised to avoid the entire Belgium squad and Harry Kane

I'm having a shocker in this.
120-15 transfers
92- 18
90- 18
Are my best 3,looks like I'll have to concentrate on the knockout stage comp.

Things have took a turn for the better since I posted that, running low on transfers though but i guess most of the top teams are as i only had coutinho and neymar today and jumped from 7th to 2nd. Think my URUGUAY 1 team is set up better though and has more transfers.

Pottsy made a big jump up the leader board there. I dropped from 3rd to 7th with just lukaku. Running a bit low on transfers now but got a few moves to make yet. How's your teams looking king monkey?

Only did 5 teams due to the number if transfers required but best one now only 1 point off the top 100.

Probably short on transfers but happy if I could get with 20-30 of the lead by the end of the group stages.

The way my transfer count is looking I'll be happy to go into the knockouts 30 points off the lead. The only good thing is my top 2 teams are different blocks and I'm guessing most of the top teams are belgium blocks going off today's updates.

I'm going to need a lot of luck to keep any of my teams up there I think. If Spain concede tonight it could be game over for me. Think I might have to play this round without Ronaldo aswell which isn't ideal

I think Spain might have killed my chances. Just have to keep my fingers crossed that all the other big teams concede so i don't lose to much ground. Will be happy to go into the knockouts within 40 points of the lead.
