https://www.cricket.com.au/ashes

this is going to be a battle of shyte v shyter this time around

Australia have confirmed their selection bombshell by sensationally recalling Tim Paine following a seven-year absence from Test cricket, with the wicketkeeper set to take the gloves for the Magellan Ashes.
Paine, who has not kept for Tasmania in their opening three JLT Sheffield Shield rounds due to the presence of incumbent Test gloveman Matthew Wade, will dust off his Baggy Green after remarkably leapfrogging both Wade and his predecessor Peter Neville.

Australia Squad: Steve Smith (c), David Warner (vc), Cameron Bancroft, Usman Khawaja, Peter Handscomb, Shaun Marsh, Tim Paine (wk), Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood, Jackson Bird, Chadd Sayers.

I predict an Aussie win 3-1

Our bowlers will be our strength & I expect to see our batsmen reasonably positioning themselves, with competitive innings.

You heard it here first! :biker:

England have named seamer Jake Ball ahead of Craig Overton in their side for the first Ashes Test against Australia in Brisbane.

Australia have called up all-rounder Glenn Maxwell as cover for David Warner, who has a stiff neck, and Shaun Marsh, who has a sore back.

Warner wasn't able to sallow his viagra

Decent first day. Would be a strong position if it was Stokes and Malan at crease with Bairstow, Moeen & Woakes still in the shed.
Take that though and if we get 350-370 we shouldn’t lose the test which is a big plus at Brisbane.
Aussie batting looks weak to me.

I think most of us ‘poms’ would be happy if we could just use a proper cricket ball instead of the kiddies one you lot insist on using.

Weather report Schlocky?

We are getting pissed on from a great height in Country Vic.
A freak rain event, possibly end up with 6-8 inches over today & tomorrow.

Well at least I float well :titter:

Update: 4 inches overnight, possibly not much more to come :coffee2:
