If anyone wants to set up a blog let me know. The idea isnt to take content away from the Forum but rather to use it as a medium for thoughts, analysis whatever...I guess the benchmark is - if it works on the forum leave it here - if it fits a blog format go for it..

Was thinking we could get one for Horse Racing - maybe 2..Schlocky is doing one from an Aussie perspective, would be good to get a spud blog a US blog - they dont have to be individual either - they can involve a number of contributors ....

Some winners at nice odds on the blogs.
Denman had this beauty below

Peterborough Chase

NH Racing

Another week has passed and again, too busy to do the blog justice. I wanted to post a piece on this great race - probably as good a field as we have seen in a few years.

But its only 15 minutes to the race so I will just have to put up my big fancy - then justify or defend it later

In all seriousness it is a cracker this year, for now I will just say Deep Purple will win.

Tidal Bay at 2/1 is a joke price - the horse can be a real monkey - if someone gave me £20K to back it I wouldn't. His jumping won't hold up around here.

Herecomesthetruth has the form after a great win in Ireland - I reckon he will ensure a decent pace with fitness on his side.

Racing Demon has great course form but I can't have it in this hot race after such a long lay off.

Deep Purple is the one who will like this type of track - I think he will have far too much pace and win easily. Daft price too as I have him favourite.

Starting Price: 12/1

:clap2: :clap2:

Ok - if you PM me some detail I can get one set up....as a basic starter have a look at the Denman one...basically you can select the colour scheme, pictures for the header, a block of words to describe the blog and a block of test to describe the contributors..after that I can set up a basic shell and you can amend as required..

I started an American politics blog on Facebook if anyone is interested in the morons in the Republican party. It's mostly a humour blog, but there may be serious discussion at times. I'd like to get some more members, like or share puhlease!!!

I wouldn't mind starting a blog on my gym escapades. If it's not as simple as starting a thread on the subject, how would I go about it, Ianovic? I go 3 days on, one off now (with the occasional three week hiatus  ) so it's pretty hardcore!

Maybe this should go in my blog...

Was at a meeting just the other day and suggested how I could help people with gym work / fitness needs etc. At the first break, this hot chick comes over looking like a cross between Anita Dobson  and the black one from Pepsi & Shirley.

She's all smiles, I'm all smiles, then some freak comes over ruining the conversation by telling me that she can't go the gym (:wtf:) as she says her doctor reckons she needs her feet breaking again. That wiped the smiles off the faces of the hot chick and I. So we talked about swimming instead and the semi that was brewing slowly melted away.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I told the team leader to forward my e-mail details onto hot chick if she still wants me to help her with a workout.

That was on Wednesday. She's not been in touch yet.

Women! They do my friggin nuts in.

You're so mean!

I notice you didn't pull me up for saying an Anita Dobson cross-breed could possibly be classed as being 'hot'!
