I cant see the logic of him not standing down for at least a day or 2 :dunno: Not that Raab fills me with confidence & after his 'didn't realise how busy Dover was', I maybe harshly, filed him under clown/tosser. :biker:

Devon roughly 1 every 6000 but its probably an older population with so many retiring to that county, we have some obviously in parts of Somerset :beglee:

114 cases now, 51 increase in 5 days

Surely big odds on our lockdown will continue well into May :beglee: It aint looking good

I'm sure an overwhelming amount of people are following the guidelines but clearly a significant minority aren't :spank:

I suspect the best case scenario of 20,000 deaths will be blown away in the next 2/3 weeks & on that I sincerely hope I'm wrong :Isay:

Any premier league team who puts staff on furlough should be banned from transfer market until money is repaid. Imagine saying we can't pay staff but we can spend 20-50-100 million on a player.

177 confirmed cases in the county now & as bad as this is, it still some way behind Italy at the moment :Isay:

We could still catch them in the death tally as well, odds on that we will imho

I’d be more worried about if it is worst than previous time as your system should generate some sort of immunity. As you can still get different strains but shouldn’t be as bad

The BBC are shameless fickle coonts, how can they have a headline like this when in the article itself:

'The Office for National Statistics is due to release new figures on the number of deaths involving coronavirus at 09:30 BST, which include every community death linked to Covid-19 in England and Wales.'

At the daily press conference they were asked if they were changing their minds on face masks, the reply was not at the moment but are constantly reviewing all decisions. Yet Fiona Richmond in her headlines announced the government were reconsidering their recommendation on face masks, a not so subtle spin on facts :WTF:

No doubt care workers have had a raw deal but the brutal truth, 90%'ish work in the private sector & are/were down the priority pecking order. :Isay:

My Mum, despite given a few weeks to live was sent to a nursing home, in fact she lived on for 2 years & i've nothing but praise & appreciation for the staff :clap2: but 'they' exist to make profit & wonder how quickly 'some' of the owners moved to acquire any PPE etc., spending money eating away at the profit margin :hmmm:

Worth remembering that the only daily focus has been on the NHS coping with demand & care/nursing homes didn't/dont enter into it :biker:

Jumped from 177 to 274 in 6 days in Somerset which in theory is a slow down on the rate from a a few weeks ago but I personally still the find figures after a month of lockdown disappointing

I've heard a theory of an exit strategy being staggered using a traffic light system over a month period which doesn't make sense imho cos its too short a period for any new cases to show themselves + surely anyone/everyone going back to work MUST be tested for Covid in parallel with a track/ trace/ isolate in place for any of those who develop Covid symptoms :hmmm:

Crisis, what crisis :blind: Boris not attending Cobra during January/ February was as relevant as the price of eggs :biker:

The medical experts guiding the government had the Coronavirus threat as low in January & raised it to moderate in March February & we've heard with monotonous regularity they will always be guided by the 'experts', a cynic might think they saw this as a get out of jail card if/when thing's go tits up :hmmm:

Supposedly spuds are on the down curve now as less than 1 to 1 infection rate. The things getting reported here than uk in daily figures it includes everyone who dies than just hospitals in uk. The majority of deaths are in nursing homes here. These people always going to be fked if infected. No idea how restrictions start lifting that a rise doesn’t start again unless people continue to work from home for a long time but construction industry and non grocery stores can’t do that. Sport can’t see happening in public for a considerable amount of time

Sky news has just allowed a former scientific adviser David King to spew out some misleading 'facts', unchallenged. :WTF:

Notably how he dismissed that Vallance would have advocated Herd Immunity & that it was the government. :whatever:

Its easy to spot someone out to do a hatchet job when they compare us to Germany, ignore France. Italy & Spain.

Allowing Cheltenham to go ahead was an error in my view but listen what Vallance says about large crowds being less likely to spread the disease  so I can certainly believe it went ahead on his advice :hmmm:

Clearly this expert is clueless on behavior in a betting ring :Isay:

Cheltenham should never gone ahead. Like most people we dismissed it as bad as it has turned out. The truth or lack of from China probably didn't help.

Hindsight is wonderful 'thing'. :hmmm:

Blair's right about us being slow but anyone who claims they could see how bad things were going to get is either a genius or a stranger to the truth :oldgit:

Even under the lockdown there's roughly a daily increase of 5000'ish & imho the lockdown cant be lifted until there's a testing/track & trace system set up, then let 'some sectors' out :beglee:
