Best keep hold of those "cant breathe" signs in case they catch the virus :hmmm:

Only 23 arrested

Here more people protesting about this than major national issues

Peaceful I hope/assume :clap2:

The level of violence/looting seen in the USA will only fuel racial tension & detracts from what looked to me to be a murder & let due process take place. :biker:

Woman on radio this morning saying she cant support cause as more black folk are having their livelihoods ruined by the looters :OFFS:
Retired black police officer also killed, totally agree police need brought to task but can see how the looters are having a great time taking stuff but using the situation for their own ends.
Policing reminds me of how thing were in Uk in 70s & 80s

Sadly, I'm far from convinced these protest will change anything :hmmm:

George Floyd's name will drift into obscurity in a few weeks or so, no doubt something else will be more 'newsworthy' :oldgit:

14 more injured police trying to do their job :Hi-Guy:

Personally, I've nothing but contempt for all those at the protest, they dont give a shit about all the covid that could have been passed around :whatever:

When the 2nd wave hits us which it surely will I dare some of these so called protesters will be shouting even louder at the number of BAME deaths :hmmm:

Strange how from what I gather that all protest in the USA were peaceful yesterday, not that will help much regarding spreading the disease :biker:

A reasonable bet that most patriotic yanks will be furious at this young girls jibe asking when has this country EVER been great. :hmmm:

Personally, I didn't watch one consecutive minute of the coverage & I dont know for sure how long it was but it seemed to go on for hours :dunno:

Did he deserve to die that way? Of course he didn't & hopefully his family will get the justice they deserve.

Apparently he cried for his Mum during the incident, I dare say the 7 month pregnant woman he robbed at gun point would have been crying for her Mum during her robbery :hmmm: Yet in death he's been turned from an unsavory person the a bloody saint :Isay:

Many years ago someone I worked with died by his own hand, not someone I got on with, the manager asked me if I was OK, why wouldn't I be was my reply. With poor old D==== going like that etc

If I was asked yesterday to describe him " He's a back stabbing selfish lazy coont". Ask me today " He WAS a back stabbing selfish lazy coont"

IMHO the whole family are on the bandwaggon :Bandwagon: & why not?
Usually family's that are wrapped in crime (all races) have more than one toe rag in its ranks so when a meal ticket arrives they will take it all day long.
As you say, hope justice is served and the coonty police punished but the whole thing is getting out of hand all over!
Half expecting the canonisation of George in the next few weeks listening to ministers on the radio during the service.
One of the thick fkers actually said that Coronavirus was a blessing :WTF:

Truly scary times the idiots have finally taken over!

I'd say this cast doubts there will be a successful prosecution against the police :hmmm:

I like most others wrongly assumed Floyd had died as direct action by the policeman but now may only have been a factor. :Isay:

Utter bollox to say he urinated on memorial :WTF:

As far as I can see he was doing his best not to expose himself & had he actually pissed on the memorial he certainly would have :hmmm:

Surely you're not defending that.......

I dont agree with some things you say but that is really scraping the barrel..... The fact they were there to protect monuments (not just have a scrap - honest) is beyond irony

This is what happens when the police stand by & watch & do nothing as they did with the statue :hmmm:

I fear all the good work done in this country to reduce racism in this country is on the cusp of being undone. :Isay:

T'was the description of the act I'm disputing & youm made some assertions about the guy based on a photo :hmmm:

Not everybody setting out to protect statues were looking for a scrap, honest, as those who gathered at Bristol largely proved :biker:

How can disputing the headline be scrapping the barrel :WTF:

Man arrested over urinating AT memorial

Semantics. Whether he pissed on it or by the side of it - it remains indefensible.

Peaceful protests are fine from both sides.... But we are entering realm of vigilantism and that is dangerous. I dont want a gang of bikers or a load of hooligans or a load of antifacists determining the law.

The headline has changed to At from Over memorial to be accurate. :beglee: Which you must be aware of & if semantics didn't matter why mention it :Isay:

I dont disagree with you on the rest about vigilante's but this stems from the Bristol police chief not doing his job & allowed mob rule to take over. :biker:

The man handed himself in to his credit & for the record, it matters to me he didn't piss over the memorial :oldgit: As far as I can see he made every effort no to :blind:

As someone who over many years has had to piss outside, the last thing I notice is whats next to the target area

After wrestling with a decision of which one is Dumb or Dummer :hmmm:

Dumb

Dumber

I cant see anything saving this government from defeat at the next general election, twas only JC saved them at the last & hand on heart, they deserve to get voted out :Isay:

The economy will be fooked for years & that will be turbo charged with a no deal brexit, not that I think Labour will have any answers but the Tory's need a spell in opposition after 2 disastrous PM's/governments back to back :beglee:

My posting days are over which will no doubt please many :monkey: :oldgit:
