I’ll have 37 left after Lacazette  Vardy tonight.

Had a couple of bad weeks though so would’ve been better burning a few.

Good going Yorkie
749/32 my best tean, quite happy with that at present.

Lots of people looking to jump all over city at the moment and could this be the year where cheap defenders might not be the best way to go.

Lots of risk with sterling, aggro and jesus. KDB and Silva look the safest at the moment

Is otomendi this years alonso ?

I personally think that plenty will get caught out with transfers as they might be to relient on the overhaul

I know this forum has had a few winners of tff and a few 2nds, some say chokers, but cannot say that myself as never been in a position to choke..

Has anybody done well in sky before and if so what tactics would you advise, if the game format is still the same.

Thanks

Have done ok over the last 3 years with 3 top 500 finishes. Was top 20 from November until last few weeks last year (no Kane). Think i finished 170th in the end.

As Yorkie said the 2 overhauls make the transfer situation different this year. Previously i would be happy with 20 left and 100 off the leader going into the new year but because of the new format 15 might be ok ?

Previously 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 would be the way to go with a cheap back 4 but this year more value in defenders (so far), walker, stones, otamendi etc and lots of talk about 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 (think they are valid formations) being the best way forward at the moment.

I'm still going with the 3 up front and hoping that the big hitters all start firing as it will take a fair few transfers to get them back in if you go one up top.

If you dont nail the captain all of the above is pretty irelevant to be fair.

How we looking now folks?

1264 - 18t the best I can muster.

Big front 6, made a coont of it at the start and picked a balanced side. Gary was right, need big hitters up top for captains.

Next year will be a budget defence from the start.

Great score yorkie. Easy to mess this up in a v short time. My major mistakes probably not keeping kdb after the overhaul (now back), holding eriksen for too long and still not having otamendi.
Also probably the reluctance to move away from 3-4-3
