Amazing how one day captaining the right player can suddenly increase your interest in this...

4 trf used.... might bring Vardy in for a week before December, otherwise think all captains covered until December.. No other transfers planned until then....

Going well rinks!! :agree1: I'm really liking my teams in this so far!! 3 down in both teams, and set up for Captains for a good few weeks. Obviously it will all go tits up when I screw up my Captains, but hey that's part of the fun!!

I read that average transfers used in the top 100 was 15-20 or something like that?? Also In the 'late riser' half the top 100 going into it had no captain options other than for Saturday and a fair few of them had like 7-8 city players!!! :titter:

Could be a weekend for moving up or down as quite a few teams high up are city heavy, especially in the 'late riser'!! Kane or Lukaku Capt for me on Sat, just not sure which yet??. :hmmm:

Had to make a few transfers today regarding Mendy and Aguero. Transfered Huddersfield keeper out for Burnley keeper to release funds think Heaton is out for a while.... So hopefully this will be a masterstroke.. :titter:

Would say no more transfers until December but have had to make 3 forced subs due to injuries and one to release funds plus one for player loosing place..

Still 33 trf left..

No transfers needed for me this weekend hopefully? One team has jones, but other than that a clean bill of health and captains covered? Just need to pick the right ones now??.. :hmmm: Lukaku and Kane have a rather large ownership percentage now, so could come down to picking the right 3rd striker, or a midfield differential weighing in with some big points?

Have Kane and Morata now. Went for Lacaasette as 3rd striker due to Arsenal playing a lot of non Saturday games, allowing captain picks to be covered...

No Lukaku Rink? That could be a costly move or genius??.. :hmmm: He is the most selected player in the game appearing in 54% of teams!!

Had him for first 3 weeks then took him out during amnesty week for Morata re captaincy days. Put Lascestte in for same reason. Toss up between him Kane and Aguero for 3rd striker, went Aguero now Kane..

Want to see how Arsenal go with Thursday nights being a regular occurrence and the reason for the non Saturday fixtures. Thought the Baggies were very unlucky tbh and hearing Koscielny may now be crocked too. It won't take much for the Arsenal camp to implode imo. That said the Capt choices as alternatives are not clearly apparent. So my mantra is take your medicine - there will be double captains you won't want to miss out.

Much prefer the format this year - actually like the game. Feel like I need 1 more year to really get the hang of it though. TFF is going to still be the predominant focus this year. This weekend cements the start in that game well and truly I am hoping. That said I'm hardly doing poorly in this. Wasted 2 transfers not realising there was a reset after week 3 though.

Someone posted on the 'other' forum!! I believe that FFS post this info on their website as they have some kind of tie in with the sky game. Info was also posted on FFS last season too.

I'm just counting down the weeks that i'm not using a transfer. They will become very useful after that 2nd 'reset' As lots of teams will be running on fumes a few weeks after that!!

No point even looking at leaderboards and stuff atm, as there are so many City heavy teams and teams that have use lots of transfers at the top!! The guy leading the late riser has 7 city and Sanchez as captain today!! :titter: :titter:

February I think - get burning. No Cup games in this mate. Had Ward as my Capt all week and then went Lacka due to future opportunities

Why burn? There will be weeks later on with 5 cappos needed.... So long as you have a legit cappo for likely games and are within striking distance better to hold?

Genuine q as not sussed dynamics here

Still think you need to keep plenty in hand even with the overhaul.
I am still looking at taking 20 into the new year. Far more oppertunities to make ground in the last couple of months in this game imo

If Suttner is dropped by Brighton it looks like a wasted transfer to Tarkowski. I've nae chance. Used 7 and 9 already

volatile format this...

hit the right cappos and swings can easy be 50+ points per week....

think I just try go for solid decisions and then gamble if / when needed down the line.

will start to look at a few 3-1 etc especially where I might combine with a cappo or two...

I made a few mistakes last year looking for 2/3 - 1s before christmas.
Unless it gives you a great captain opportunity then i will be stearing clear.

Most will have been on Kane yorkie so it shouldn't really have made much impact.
I do like maguire sweep but defensive transfers seem such a waste in this game.
Loads probably gonna jump.on the vardy 2-0, not for me so sofa time i think

Think I might pull the trigger here.... Nothing ventured etc...

Where is everyone wrt transfers. I know the Enigma was being even tighter than me (must be a Yorkshire thing) but I am in 750th or thereabouts and feeling pretty comfy with 37 left.

I can see me still having 30 at Xmas... Unless there are loads of injuries

33 sat in 230th. Great start yorkie
Tbf if i had 37 i would be a lot more tempted to make the vardy move.
Gotta hope the baggies shut up shop
