Decision made for me.

Stones  Vertonghen
Morgan  Alderweireld
Costa  Kane

COYS

Need to do something different and i'll put my eggs in a Spurs defensive basket. Still have hazard for Chelsea cover through their easy spell and hopefully Costa will eventually miss a game in December. Sterling and Redmond have been utter shite but they do seem to play when fit so i'll give them one more month. Only decision now is whether to bring them all in at the weekend if fit.

Had a proper look.

Got to try and catch potential price rises and avoid drops for me.

Aguero has two zero's in his 5 game average and needed a 17 point haul last weekend to freeze his price. Would expect a drop come Sunday so he's coming out for Kane. With City booked for 2nd in the CL you'd think Iheanacho, Nolito etc will play v Celtic and Aguero will get a rest. Thereafter it's Leicester and Arsenal so he may struggle and continue to drop. Costa may get booked and miss a game but regardless he's going to continue to rise on Sunday and he's a good differential if he continues to avoid that yellow card. Spurs fixtures are superb throughout Jan so def bringing 3 of them in.

Decided Alli has more potential to increase in price than Vertonghen so he's coming in for Sterling who will surely be rotated through the busy period.

Last transfer will be Stones to Alderweireld but going to hold on to this one til after they play Man U. He's not fully fit so don't want him breaking down again and If Stones misses Chelsea he'll likely play v Celtic. Also wiser to hold a couple of weeks in case another player gets crocked.

Up to 40th again but continually around 70 points behind. Can't make inroads.

Thanks for doing my leg work Henke :agree1:

I'll be going with my two choices and hopefully their price doesn't increase too much otherwise i'll have to shift Shaw for a cheaper option and leave me with no transfers for the whole month.

You've just got to go with your gut feeling :agree1:

Wish I just went Redmond to Eriksen as well as he is ridiculously cheap and has huge potential to rise. May make the move midweek if he starts v CSKA.

Would be at risk tho of an Aguero style incident or a bad injury. Can't have them all I suppose.

Got £7.5m in the bank now. Choking to upgrade my defence in Jan

This Aguero ban is bad news for all those who didn't have him including me
All those with him will either go Kane or Costa so pretty much all the teams front three will be similar

Is now the time for KDB to shine? With Aguero missing I've got a feeling he'll step up to the plate. If he starts v Celtic (unlikely) it'll be hard to resist. Problem is he is in all the leaders teams but I guess I should cover as he could blow me away single handedly. Redmond just isn't doing it. :whatever:

Got a Spurs block 10 points ahead of this team but reckon this is still my best as the team is worth £5m more than the Spurs block.

Forster

Walker
Stones
Vertonghen
Dawson

Redmond
Hazard
Alli

Kane
Costa
Zlatan

£4.9m in the bank.

Stones and Redmond have to go. Redmond to Miki seems a no brainer, Utd seem to be taking the Europa seriously. Will the fact they are creeping back into top 4 contention change that tho? :hmmm:

I really want Alonso in for Stones so it's tempting to cash in on Hazard's price and bring KDB in at a relatively cheap looking sub £6m. Only problem with this is using 3 transfers straight away in Jan.

Alderweireld now only £5.5m and given he has been out for long a long period may play in the Europa. Might be best keeping Hazard for Jan, bringing Toby in for Stones, Miki in for Redmond and sit on one in case of injuries.

Then cash in on Hazard towards the end of the month presuming no injuries, free up a few mil to upgrade Dawson in Feb :hmmm:

Does my head in this game

Still circa 70 points behind. Can't make any inroads.

You not considering taking Kane out :hmmm:

Even before I put him in I wasn't convinced he was upto last years form, and with him firing blanks against weaker opposition in the last two games its a no brainer for me.

100 points off the lead so pretty much over for me in this :agree1:

No way you are out of it 100 behind. Most of the teams beginning to look quite similar so just need to find other potential high scorers that they don't have and pray. Of course we are relying on Chelsea beginning to concede and getting knocked out of the FA Cup early. A hat-trick from someone they don't have will fire you back up there like Vardy did to my Spurs block.

Now thinking Aguero to Kane is wise although you'd think most of the leaders will bring Aguero back. Probably just need to find another way of clawing it back tho gradually and bring him back in as well. Just a pity Kane is dropping in price, thought he could have been £8m+ by the end of the month, now looking at sub £7m unless he gets his finger out  A hat-trick v Chelsea and all is forgiven tho

Wishful thinking, I'm thinking Aguero and for that to happen i'll probably have to sacrifice Ozil or De Bryune :hmmm:

As much as can see the desperate need/desire to get shot of Stones Simon, I'm not getting it with Redmond.

I've got him in a team in 174th (103 points off the lead) and I'm happy with him for January.

A. 59 points at his price isn't that shabby.
B. He's obviously part of Puel's perception of his best XI.
C. Saints have bonus of 2 league cup semis in January

February, yep, I fully intend to get rid of him.

My strategy for January (if I'm not being too grand about it) is to swim against the tide and lose my 2 Chelsea defenders and hope that their 'toughish' fixtures sees them regularly concede, and their prices drop, and bring in Kos and Bellerin as Arsenal have a lovely set of fixtures even if they've been shite of late.

This will free up the funds to upgrade Son (yep I know :doh:I didn't log into Dream Team for a few weeks, I bought him at £5.7m :OFFS: ) to Aguero.

Again I agree that it's great to find differentials against the field, but no sofa is wide enough, high enough or thick enough not to have Aguero V Burnley at the Etihad. He scored 2 in the reverse fixture and he's going to be on a mission, it's a hattrick (minimum  ) waiting to happen.

Ah fk knows what to do now

Feel as tho it may wise to cash in on both Hazard and Costa throughout a difficult January and bring in Miki and Sanchez. Aguero in for Kane but then I'm not fixing any of my bigger problems long term. It also feels as tho Sanchez is at his peak price and will only drop. May take a gamble on Walcott.

Man U defender for Stones seems wise tho and Costa is a differential. :hmmm:

Still got decent amount of time to think about it.

fk Aguero.

After Burnley you are looking at West ham twice, Everton and Spurs. I'll take the gamble I think that they can keep him quietish.

Man U and Liverpool looks the way to go. Rojo, Miki and Firminho (wild gamble but I presume he's now dropped severely in price) in for Stones, Hazard and Kane.
